Yesterday, the boyfriend and I attended a Philippine International Cartoons Comics and Animation & Arts in the City exhibit at The Gallery in The Fort.
It was a double exhibit featuring Filipino sculptors (Komiks in Real 3D) and an all-Filipina group of cartoonists (Kakaiba Ka, Kababaihan).
This is my favorite out of all the artworks there, featuring our very own Darna. This piece is aptly titled Pinoy Superwoman and was created by Ferdie Cacnio.
PICCA will also be having their 2nd PICCA Fest starting next week on the 22nd until the 25th. Three venues will host the event: SM City North Mall, University of the Philippines (UP) Film Center and UP College of Fine Arts.
